Introduction

6 days Morocco Imperial cities Tour and from Tangier. trip takes you through Morocco's best cities. From Tangier to the blue-painted streets of Chefchaouen, passed Roman ruins in Volubilis, and through the medieval medina in Fes. Carry on to Morocco's capital, Rabat, before arriving to the modern Casablanca and finishing in the ochre City Marrakech.

Program Details

Day 1 : Tangier - Chefchaouen

Meet and welcome at Tangier and departure to Chefchaouen, a town founded as a secret mysterious place from which to attack the Portuguese installed on the north coast. Was totally banned from entering the village to Europeans until the arrival of the Spanish troops in 1920. Arrival in Chefchaouen and have a first contact with the city.

Day 2: Chefchouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fes

Depart towards to the roman city voluibilis, it is 166 KM and it takes 2 hours to get it. Volubilis is at the foot of the Jebel Zerhoun .the site was inhabited during the Meolithic period and was occupied by the carthaginians and then by the Roman .inside this historical site you will see the house of Orpheus ,Decumanus Maximus and Triumphal Arch, the house of Dinysus ,the house of Dionysus and the ‘Four seasion’ ,Etc …..and after the roman city you will make it to Meknes and around 4 :00 pm you will drive to Fes .over night in a riad in the old medina of Fes.

Day 3: Fes Sightseeing Tour

After breakfast, we will begin our visit of “the oldest living Medina in the world” with a local official tour guide. We will tour the Medina with its “souks” (markets), stopping at the gateway of the Royal Palace, the 9th century Karouine Mosque and University.We will visit also the tomb of the city founder “Moulay Idriss II”. Lunch will be held at one of the traditional restaurants in the old Medina. After lunch we will continue our tour to visit the Nejjarine Fountain, the old Harem Garden and the Batha Museum. On the way back to the hotel, we will stop to enjoy a panoramic view of the city.

Day 4: Fes - Rabat

Leave Fes behind and venture north to the imperial city (and present-day capital) of Rabat. Explore the medieval fortification of the Chellah Necropolis and wander the Roman and Islamic ruins. Enter through the grand door of the Kasbah des Oudaias into Rabat's old city center. From there, visit the 20th-century Andalusian Gardens and enjoy the serene space away from the crowds. Discover the Hassan Tower, a minaret of the incomplete mosque and Mausoleum of Mohamed V: a 12th-century project that was abandoned, leaving only the minaret and some 200 columns.

Day 5: Rabat - Casablanca - Marrakech

asablanca is a modern, commercial capital of Morocco, and is home to the stunning Hassan II Mosque. It sits on an outcrop over the Atlantic and has a 690 feet (210 m) minaret—the tallest structure in Morocco and the tallest minaret in the world! It is estimated the courtyard can hold 80,000 worshipers, with room for 25,000 inside. What makes this mosque unique is that it is one of the few mosques in the country non-Muslims can enter. Join a morning tour and admire the exquisitely ornate artisanship: hand-carved stone and wood, intricate marble floor detailing, and gilded cedar ceilings. Upon arriving in Marrakech, settle into your accommodation and have a free evening.

Day 6: Marrakech Sightseeing Tour

Marrakech city guided tour will start from your Hotel. You will meet your Tour guide and start a full day city tour. The tour will include the most stunning sites of Marrakech such as: Medrassa Ben Youssef, the largest theological college in the Maghreb and an outstanding achievement of the Moorish architecture, your will visit The Bahia Palace, a haven of shady courtyards and blue mosaic walls built for Ahmed Ben Moussa. The palace also includes beautiful quarters for his 4 wives and 24 concubines, the big square of Jemaa El Fna, the city’s main square. No one really knows how it came into being, but over the years it has become the beating heart of Marrakech. After lunch, you will refresh with a visit the famous Majorelle gardens and a walk through the most interesting handicrafts quarters of the souks such as the leather auction, tinsmiths, and coppersmiths. End the tour at the Hotel or the Djemma lefna square at 16h30.
