Program Details

Day 1: Marrakech – Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazte – Dades valley

In the first place, our tour from Marrakech starts today. So on this Marrakech Sahara desert tours, we will meet you at your accommodation in Marrakech and start traveling to the Dades Valley via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass and over the High Atlas Mountains. So, today you will enjoy traveling through the dramatic pass and the amazing views of the Berber villages and the amazing landscape changing as the day progresses. Also, you will stop in Ouarzazate to visit the Kasbah Taourirt, one of the most beautiful Kasbahs in this area. Then, you’ll have lunch at the Kasbah.
Afterward continue to the Dades Gorge through the road of “the Thousand Kasbahs”, which offers many beautiful photo opportunities of nature and people. Then we’ll get to Kalaat Mgouna –the center of roses valley. Finally, we drive the Dades Valley where you will explore the amazing rock formation called “the monkey toes”. Day 2 :Dades valley – Todra valley & Gorges – Erfoud –Merzouga desert

So after breakfast, you’ll leave the Dades valley towards Tinrghir and the Todra valley. In the first place, enjoying the panoramic views of the old mud Berber villages overlooking the valley. Then get to the Gorge and walk under the 300 m high red cliff, where many rock-climbers come to enjoy their preferred sport. So after an optional hour hike in the valley, your tour from Marrakech continues to Erfoud. Then to the village of Merzouga where we prepare for camel ride into desert guided with an experienced camel guide. In the first place, we explore sand-sea of the Erg-Chebbi desert and we spend the night in desert camp in Merzouga.

Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif – Ouarzazate

Afterward, you will trek back to the village of Merzouga. After breakfast, we explore the Merzouga area. After that, you leave for Rissani – once Sijilmassa – the foundation of the Alaouite dynasty, the current ruling family. With most of the women veiled, and men hooded, this is a very traditional Moroccan town.
Then we’ll continue Marrakech Sahara desert tours, driving towards the spectacular kasbah Tamnougalt and Agdez village, via Alnif and Tazzarine. Before we get to the fascinating Draa Valley at the edge of the Atlas Mountains, along which lay hundreds of Berber Kasbahs. Then to Ouarzazate, where you will be at a riad.

Day 4: Ouarzazate - Marrakech

So after breakfast in your riad, you will start traveling to Marrakech via the largest Kasbah in Morocco. Then over the Atlas Mountains. Journeying on through the Ounilla valley to Kasbah Telouet. In fact, you will enjoy the panoramic views and the scenic moon-like landscape with the contrast of the Berber villages and the Atlas Mountains. Today you will also visit the Kasbah Telouet, an area that was known for the trading caravans led by T-Hami El Glaoui ancestors during the end of the 19th century. Finally, your journey will continue through the majestic Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260m) over the High Atlas Mountains.
